Four Senate Races Unlikely to be Resolved Soon, Dems Pickup at Least Five Seats (CQPolitics.com)

CQPolitics.com - Even as votes were still being counted in four close Senate races, including one in Georgia probably headed for a runoff, Democrats appeared to have fallen short of their goal of a 60-vote majority that would make Republican filibusters all but impossible. Only in a year when Democratic ambitions ran so high, though, could a gain of at least five seats be considered a disappointment.
